First Taste – Ostrich Burger

Over the weekend, I attended a Ostrich Festival. I’ve always wonder what an ostrich burger would taste like. Well, it almost tasted like a burger, but I thought it was a bit dry. At least I can tell the world that I have tried it.

I really thought the Ostrich Festival was small, so I would pass up on it every year. My main reason going there was to take my almost 3-year old son to watch demolition derby at the festival.

Overall, the festival was great. You had live music, carnival rides, lots of vendors, kid activities and etc. They even had a stunt biker team doing wheelies, endo and other tricks. I use to ride a Yamaha R6 few years ago.

Anyways, if you never tried an ostrich burger, go try one. It won’t kill you, but nothing beats a tasty juicy cheeseburger!
